How it all started

Many of you might already know of the calling that God has placed on my life to reach out to Latin American countries with the love of God. I believe that growing up with my family on the mission field was God’s first way of developing in me the skills necessary to be able to respond to this missionary calling. I remember when I was 14 years old and riding home on what we called “chicken busses” from Guatemala City, where we had just finished an evangelistic event. I looked out of my window at the volcano in the distance and I asked God if I was to dedicate my working life to His service. It was there on that bus that I first asked God to allow me to reach out to the nations of the world with his love. And that prayer never ended…

In June of this year, God provided an opportunity for me to work with “Cities of the World,” a ministry of Campus Crusade, Canada. I was asked to consider becoming part of a team that is reaching a city in Latin America, starting with Paraguay. Our goal is to see lives changed and communities transformed with the love of Christ. After much prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, I have agreed to focus my efforts in our first city of Asuncion, Paraguay where already the First Lady has asked us to come help her reach her country for Christ!

This is a very exciting time in my life as I see God clearly guiding me into full time ministry in Latin America. We are pressing forward with the vision of reaching the world for Christ, one life and one city at a time.
